Series A of the race for the Award of Gepard (2,400 m) was won from place to place by Kalibr (54.5 kg), which was strongly attacked in the end by Eora (56). This gelded horse, ridden with effort by Liliya Reznikov-Wróblewska, managed to maintain the dominance of a head in the winning post. The third was Syrus (61), fourth Auza (49.5) and fifth Wilga Fata (57.5). Heavily favoured Via Verdi Kossack (67.5) did not manage to withstand the strong pace: 2’57.8″(33.5-37.5-35.9-35.4-35.5). Overweight on flexible track (3.8) did its job. The favourite finished the race last with a heavy loss, the same applies to the next but one Vasiliev (62). Distances: head – 2 – 3 1/4 – 2 1/4 – 10 1/2 – 13 3/4.

Sensation of the day was to victory of three-year-old Arabian mare Pirelka, which was the least expected. Nobody hit the jackpot on Saturday: Pirelka – Daisy Love – Kalibr – Aischylos – Hiszpan. Jackpot cumulation on Sunday! The bomb up at 10.15.
