  Please make sure you pack with you all racing tack and gear that you may need.
  • Please ensure that you have your private health/accident insurance valid and up to date. Each jockey is responsible for their own race riding insurance against accident and it is highly recommended that you also purchase travel insurance for this trip.
  • Please remember to pack your jockey licence and medical book (if issued by your racing authority) for production on arrival at the races.
  • Please ensure you bring plenty of tack including chamois + neck strap + girths + pads together with your usual racing gear.
  • Please note the following Rules of Racing in Poland:
  o All jockeys must be insured against accident for race riding when competing in Poland. This is mandatory.
  o As far as helmets and body protectors are concerned Poland Jockey Club accept as minimum the following certificates:
  – for helmets: EN1384:1996, EN1384:1997, PAS015:1994, JRA (ARAI), AS/NZS 3838 2003, ASTM F11 63-01;
  – for body protectors: EN13158:2000 Level 1, JRA (DESCENTE), ARB Standard 1998, Satra Jockey Vest Standard Document M6 issue 3, ASTM F2681 – 08.
  – It is a HANDS AND HEELS race only. Whips are prohibited. It is also prohibited to use a hand instead of a whip.
  – All jockeys must have their riding licences with them to show to the Stewards. This should also be e-mailed in advance.
  – Due to Polish racing rules weight of a rider after a race should be the same like before a race – it must not be less. It can only be more – as a rule +1,0 kg after the race is acceptable. If it will be more than 1 kg or if it will be less a rider is subjected to punishment. Furthermore, in particular cases, a horse can be even disqualified.
  – If you have a heavy weight then please bring a weight cloth and some lead (sometimes this causes problems at airports in the scanners so you should advise security when checking in your luggage.

10.30 hrs – meeting in Hotel Lobby with all racing gear
15.15 hrs – HH SHEIKHA FATIMA BINT MUBARAK LADIES WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP (IFAHR)
